Lenga forests, ñirre, coigue and shrubs such as ours predominate.
It's one of the best places in Chile to observe huemul, an endangered species.
There are also: Puma, Guanaco, Zorro Culpeo and Andean Condor. The park protects a representative sample of the fauna of the steppe and the Pampas mountains.
The guanaco, the puma and the gray fox stand out. Among the birds you can see the moray eagle, the Peregrine falcon, the rye and different species of small birds.
They also inhabit vizcachas, armadillos and reptiles adapted to the arid climate.
