The nature

Flora


The landscape is dominated by crayons, hard grasses and black forest.

Carob trees, caldenes and molles grow in the mountains. In spring, the steppe is covered with wild flowers that contrast with the reddish soil and rock formations.

The vegetation is adapted to drought and withstands extreme temperatures.

Fauna


Regarding fauna, the most abundant group is made up of birds such as the Condor, the Eagle, the Kestrel, the Hued-hued, the Gooseye Duck, the Black Woodpecker, the Woodpecker, the Woodpecker, the Thrush, the Thrush and the Cachaña. Among the mammals it is possible to find the Huemul, the Guanaco, the Southern Vizcacha, the Olive Mouse, the Piche, the Patagonian Chingue, the Puma, the Geofroy Cat and the Silky Rat. Among the reptiles is the Liolaemus zullyi, and among the amphibians the Four-eyed Sapito.
