The nature

Flora

The park is home to temperate rainforests and subantarctic forests, with species such as lenga, ñirre, Magellan’s coigüe, and canelo, as well as extensive peatlands, coastal shrublands, and wetlands of great climatic value.

Fauna

Among the fauna inhabiting the park are guanacos, culpeo foxes, tuco-tucos, condors, black woodpeckers, huillines, leopard seals, sea lions, and southern elephant seals.
