Flora

The predominant vegetation corresponds to the evergreen forest, composed of species such as tepa (Laureliopsis philippiana), coigüe (Nothofagus dombeyi), canelo (Drimys winteri), notro or plum (Embothrium coccineum) and chilco (Fuchsia magellanica).

Fauna

The park's fauna is typical of temperate Patagonian ecosystems. You can spot species such as the Pudú (one of the smallest deer in the world), screeching and culpeous foxes, and birds such as the chucao, kingfishers, condor and black carpenter. In the lake, it is possible to observe black-necked swans, trout and river otters (huillines).
