The nature

Flora

The vegetation is mainly comprised of Patagonian steppe and shrub thickets with coirón, murtilla, rosemary, caulk, gray grass and lichens.

Species such as Ramalina, Cetraria and Protousnea also stand out

Fauna


The park is home to species such as guanaco, gray fox, patagonian chingue, puma, quirquincho and red fox.

Its avifauna includes carancho, kestrel, queltehue, caiquén, bandurria, moray eagle, peregrine falcon and rye, and flamingos, swans, coscoroba, jergón ducks and beach eagles appear in bodies of water
