How to get there?

- North Zone Access
(Yaldad and Chaiguata):
From Route 5 South, 14 km from Quellón, take the marked crossing to the park.
It is 18 km to Porteria Yaldad and another 20 km to Lake Chaiguata.

- South Zone Access (Caleta Rio):
Isolated sector, accessible only with prior coordination.

By sea, in a municipal boat from Quellón
Departures: Sundays and Wednesdays at 12:00 p.m.
Ticket price: CLP 1,100 per person.
Approximate capacity: 40 passengers.

Ferry

By air, by plane from Castro airfield.

Sendero Siempreverde

A short and familiar route that crosses an adult evergreen forest (Zona Yaldad), ideal for those who want to enjoy the local flora without much difficulty.

Sendero Darwin

Interpretive trail located next to the park gate, where visitors can discover animal figures hidden in the forest.

Sendero Río Yaldad

Route that connects the Yaldad Portery with the Environmental Interpretation Center, crossing lush forests of tepas, mañíos and coigües.

Sendero Bosque Hundido

One of the park's must-sees (Zona Chaiguata): wooden walkways over a partially flooded tepú forest, with hanging bridges and a viewpoint overlooking Lake Chaiguata

Sendero Los Ñirres

Route that borders Lake Chaiguata, passing through viewpoints, valleys, small rivers and waterfalls. Its route includes several hanging bridges and direct contact with the Guaitecas ñirres and cypress forests.

Sendero Altos de Río - Punta Rocosa

A beautiful coastal path that combines beaches, forests and rock formations. It includes highlights such as the Inío Lighthouse and the Inío Cave, as well as ideal areas for bathing.

The nature

Flora

Evergreen forest with species such as larches, coigües, tubs, myrtle trees, canelos, buttocks and giant ferns.

Unique peatland, wetland and coastal forest ecosystems on the island of Chiloé.

Fauna

You can see huillines (native otter), puddues, chilote foxes, chuacos, rayaditos, magellanic woodpeckers and a wide variety of coastal and forest birds.

Coypos and various endemic amphibian species live in rivers and wetlands.
