Trail

The Lago Carlota National Reserve offers a natural environment of Andean forest and lakes, in a landscape of transition between the temperate jungle and the Patagonian steppe, ideal for walking in tranquility and discovering native fauna and flora. It is possible to go hiking, hiking and interpreting nature. (No more information!)

The predominant vegetation formation in the reserve is the deciduous forest of Aysén, made up of lenga and ñirre.

Fauna


Bird species include the condor, Peregrine Falcon, Rye, Rye, Spoon Duck, Nucco, Peuquito, Black Woodpecker, Black-necked Swan and Chilean Flamingo

.Among the mammals you can find the puma, huemul, piche and among the invasive alien species, the hare and red deer.
